  本项研究基于内蒙古野外的大型围栏实验平台,通过大规模人工增雨、营养成分和微生物组学分析,研究了气候变化对植物、肠道微生物及鼠类生长和种群的影响。研究发现,增雨显著促进了羊草的生长,增加了布氏田鼠喜食植物羊草的比例,降低了次喜食植物克氏针茅的比例,从而影响了肠道微生物的组成结构和功能,促进了体重生长,并增加了布氏田鼠的种群密度。在室内,通过对田鼠饲喂实验,发现不同营养的食谱可显著影响肠道微生物组成及功能,改变粪便中组氨酸和多种短链脂肪酸(SCFAs)含量,进而影响体重生长。菌群移植实验验证了菌群变化与体重变化的因果关系。另外,发现食谱中高含量的羊草、果糖或者低聚果糖,可显著提高肠道霍氏真杆菌(Eubacterium hallii中国竞彩网)的相对丰度,更有利于短链脂肪酸(例如乙酸和丙酸)的合成。
